AS WE LAY

By Graeme Mkhalimi K

As we lay
Exchanging Sweat,Saliva and Skin.
Parallel were the state of minds comatozed.
A meseum of affection our bodies we diagnosed.
Loosing ourselves in entwined breaths unedited.
Drawing signutures on our torsos to ease the long we had each other collected.

As we lay
Sharing Words, Whispers and Whines.
We were cracking the mine inconquest for gold.
Our favourite movies we were, selfishly each other we hold.
We were one, like the hearts of those who die fighting.
But we would only smile crying.

As we lay
Allowing Caprice, Caresses and Contorts.
We let our guards down, trapped each other like fish on bait.
Interjecting each others touches like the great debate.
We were by us, for us to us.
Paralysis was oozing thoughts more thrust.

As we lay
Opening Doors, Drilling and Dwindling.
We married an essence no amnesia shall disconnect.
Our soft silky skins resolved to magnifying magnets infact,
with waves running along to a click of a second like homies.
We became a disco of racing anatomies.

As we lay
Giving Squizes, Scuffles and Scums.
Our hearts mumbled in a speed of light.
Lids betrayed the eyes when suddenly day became night.
The garden was watered in nature’s melody.
And i was reliving my greatest memory.

As we lay
we knew each other better, everyday. And between us it shall stay.
As we lay
a lot known waz shared, yet a lot unknown was shared.and we never shall tell it beter than the moment cared.
